Christmas Eve Kayaking

December 24, 2006 // 0 Comments  // Add yours »

Picture_548 The first thing I heard this morning was Christmas carols being blasted from police cars as they drove up and down the street.  Then the next thing I knew I was putting on my life jacket and headed down to the beach with Steph to go kayaking in the harbor.  It was only a few minutes after sunrise, and the weather was nothing like I'd expect for a December morning.  We spent about a half hour out on the water and then went for a walk down to the Harborview Market for some breakfast and coffee with the locals.  It was probably one of the best mornings I've had down in Black Rock so far... it reminded me how much I love living down here.
